Turning the ubiquitous Starbucks barista scribble into a beacon of hand crafted beverage personalization. This was a simple idea that took something Starbucks owned and pushed into the conceptual world. It moved a lot of espresso drinks but didn’t go as far as we had hoped. We envisioned gallery shows with artists turning their own wall sized signatures into one-of-a-kind works that could be sold for charity. Kind of like BMW Art Cars but for lattes. But I digress.
